Group Project (Yacht Design)

The following 24m yacht project was done with my group in the lesson of Ship Design Project.The hull form was created in Maxurf. Hydrostatic,Stability,Propulsion,Resistance and Power calculations were carried out by Maxurf Modules.As constructional material including 35% glassfibre-E type is selected. U type support materials were used and the dimensional strength calculations were made according to ISO rules.The features of our group project is;

-Length (over all)= 24m, Beam= 6m, Draught= 1,4m

-Max speed= 22 kts

-2xMAN-V81200 main engine

-2xZF Pod Drive

-Displacement= 64 tonnes

-Crew= 7+2 persons
